HOPSCOTCH has been popular in many countries and through the ages many different versions have evolved. The game is generally designed for age six to adult and is played on a hard surface on which is marked the hopscotch pattern. Most versions have two to six players, each of which receives a "stone" or marker. The object of the game is to be the first player to complete the given sequence of the particular game being played.
